Coast Divide Restoration Project
A self-governing coalition – including Sierra Club, Oregon State Parks and Recreation, and local watershed councils – is working collaboratively to showcase ecological forestry and restore 1,000 acres of public land surrounding Blachly Mountain (at the crest of the Coast Range, northwest of Eugene).
Project Goals Include:

Demonstrating the capacity of eco-forestry to restore watersheds
2
Making the area accessible for forestry research
3
Public education and recreation near Eugene
4
Creating a forum for collaborations among ecological land stewards to develop business opportunities from forest management
